2024 Tournament
On the weekend of Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st July 2024, Jersey Water Polo Association ("JWPA") are planning an outdoor tournament (both mens teams and ladies teams) at Havre Des Pas Bathing Pool, St Helier, Jersey to celebrate our 50th anniversary. Expect a weekend full of water polo, party and fun at one the most beautiful salt water pools in the world.
Havre Des Pas Bathing Pool
Constructed in 1895, water polo has been played at Havre Des Pas Bathing Pool for over a century. Today the pool looks a little different. The diving boards have been removed and the pitch has been upgraded! On tournament weekend JWPA will setup two pitches hoping to attract 8 mens teams and 8 ladies teams.
White Horse Beach Bar
On Saturday 20th July 2024, JWPA have booked the White Horse Beach Bar for food, plenty of drinks and a party late into the evening. A two minute walk from Havre Des Pas Bathing Pool with views over the bay, a DJ and exclusive use of the venue from 5pm onwards, it promises to be a great evening.
Registration
Registration is now full for 2024! If you would like to be added to our waiting list please email jerseypolo@gmail.com.
Tournament registration will cost £95 per team. With 16 spaces available, split evenly between mens teams and ladies teams, registration will be available on a first come first served basis. To register, please follow the link to our JWPA Online Store and complete the required payment. A member of our committee will be in touch thereafter to confirm details and provide any support if needed. We advise that you review our list of recommended hotels which can be found further below. 09:40 to 13:00 - Water polo matches played
13:00 to 13:15 - Trophy presentation and goodbye
Format
2 periods of 8 minutes gross playtime
2 minutes of rest between the periods
All matches played within a timeframe of 20 minutes
The 30-second rule is not applied
There are no timeouts
Win = 3 points
Draw = 1 point
Loss = 0 points
